Jeter

Kimbrough Jeter, RLP

President

Mr. Jeter began his career as a professional landman in 1977. During his career, Mr. Jeter has gained extensive experience in most phases of the land services business. The majority of his work has been in the areas of oil and gas lease acquisition, lignite lease acquisition easement & right-of-way acquisition, fee land acquisition, damage settlement, due diligence, abstracting, and title curative. He has worked as an independent field landman and in-house consultant.

As project manager, Mr. Jeter has supervised numerous large land projects for the following clients; the Louisiana Land & Mineral Company, Sonerra Resources, Prodeco Exploration Company, Texas Utilities, Houston Lighting & Power, Getty Oil, Texaco, Arco, Lone Star Gas, Delhi Pipeline, Southwest Gas & Pipeline Co., Kerr McGee, Wellborn Special Utility District, EOG Resources, City of Bryan and many others.

Mr. Jeter earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Tech University in 1976. He has received a Texas Real Estate Sales License, is a SR/WA Candidate and member of the International Right-of-Way Association and is a Registered Land Professional with the American Association of Professional Landmen. He has been a member of the AAPL since 1978.

Betsy

Dr. Elizabeth “Betsy” Jeter, DVM

Vice-President-Human Resources

Betsy is involved with the day to day business functions and planning of the company. She and her staff handle all accounting and human resource activities. Betsy has been instrumental in the development and growth of Threshold Land Services, Inc., from its inception when portable typewriters and colored pencils were the standard tools of the trade to today where they have been replaced with laptop computers, email, software programs and blackberries.

Dr. Jeter holds three degrees from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science, a Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiology and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

Al

Alfred N. Crisler, Jr., MAI

Land Manager

Mr. Crisler has been a landman since 1978 with experience in both the field and in-house. During his career, Mr. Crisler worked in ten states including Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, California, Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas. In addition to being proficient in title work, he has extensive experience in the acquisition of leases, mineral and royalty interests. During the early ‘80’s, Mr. Crisler served as Land Manager for Venture Oil Corporation. From 1996 through 2003, he served as Land Manager for South Coast Oil Corporation in California.

Mr. Crisler graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Finance. He is also a Texas State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and MAI – Member, Appraisal Institute.

Jerry

Jerry Stone, JD

Project Manager

Jerry Stone remembers being fascinated by the activity associated with a wildcat well drilled on a neighbor’s farm when he was seven years of age. After graduating from Angelo State University in San Angelo and the University of Texas School Of Law in Austin, he spent over 25 years advising both operators and landowners in all types of transactions pertaining to mineral interest in West Texas.

An experienced title examiner, he wrote division order opinions for virtually every major gathering company in the Permian Basin. He also has experience managing a title company owned by his firm, as well as organizing drilling ventures where he served as managing partner.

Mr. Stone recently designed and implemented to completion an acquisition due diligence for a project involving almost a million
acres of mineral interest located in three different states, chosen by Oil & Gas Investor magazine for recognition as the “Merger & Acquisition Deal of the Year – 2008.”

Dorbandt

Stanley Carroll, Attorney

Project Manager

Dorbandt (Dorb) Carroll, a graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law, brings 24 years of legal experience to Threshold as a practicing attorney. Dorb came onboard with Threshold in July, 2006. He currently performs title examination, curative and related land services.

From 1988 to 2006, Dorb held the position of Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Tarrant County, Texas. Prior to that, he practiced law in Palestine, Texas.

During his time in private practice, he handled both criminal and civil matters, including wills and estates, family law cases, real estate and title opinion work. Dorb has been in charge of his family’s mineral interests in the east Texas area since he began his legal career.

Ginn

Ginn Black

Project Manager

After receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees form North Texas State University Ginn had extensive experience in the field of Hospital Administration and Health Care Management. This experience included Feasibility Studies and Project Planning and Development for new hospitals and out patient clinics and treatment centers. A key component of these projects was site selection and acquisition. He was responsible for interfacing with local and state agencies regarding compliance with all regulatory requirements and securing necessary permits. His responsibilities included zoning issues and environmental issues.

Ginn followed this work with ten years of experience in residential and commercial real-estate lending with banks in the Bryan/College Station area. His responsibilities included evaluating the PROFORMA projections for proposed residential subdivisions. He was responsible for site inspections on funded projects and managing construction draws as work was completed. These experiences lead to Ginn’s work as a Landman in the area of Right of Way procurement for municipal clients and clients in the public utility field. This service includes doing extensive land ownership research on proposed routes, introducing the planed projects to the land owners and securing the necessary right of way from the property owners. He enjoys success in gaining cooperation from land owners with varied back grounds.

Morris

Morris Whitis

Real Estate Broker

Morris Whitis is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Being a life long resident of the state, he understands the trends and growth associated with the State of Texas. In fact, the Whitis family has been part of Texas since the late 1800’s.

Morris earned his BA degree in 1974 from Texas Tech University. From 1969, he has completed over 900 classroom hours of real estate courses, and real estate related courses approved by the Texas Real Estate Commission.
Morris joined Threshold firm after a successful four year real estate career, where he was affiliated with Keller Williams Realty in Allen, Texas. In 2003 he served on the board of directors for the Allen center marketplace, which is known as the Agent Leadership Council. Whitis has also trained real estate agents in the local market of Allen.
Prior to real estate, his experience includes being on the regional contract negotiating team for a Fortune 100 Company. He has also served as a Regional Sales Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales in the high tech industry.

Jack

Jack Adams

Real Estate Broker

Jack Adams is a licensed Real Estate Broker and joined the firm in 2002. His background is in commercial real estate and has been actively involved in small business for 30 years. He has managed several projects involving the City of Bryan in their acquisition of water line easements, electrical easements and right of way for the expansion of several roadways. Jack serves as a lead negotiator and manages land purchases and right of way projects for our municipal clients.

Jack earned a BBA in Management from the business school at Texas A&M University in 1976. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors and is active in the community serving on various non-profit boards. He serves as chairman of the advisory council of the Small Business Developmental Center in Bryan/College Station and is on the advisory council of the regional Small Business Development Center. Jack also teaches small business management at Blinn College in Bryan.

Randa Bradley

Randa Bradley

Randa Bradley first learned her way around the courthouse beginning in 1982, making copies for Eastland County Abstract Company. As she further developed her knowledge and skills she learned to index and prepare ownership take off reports while working for the abstract company. While raising her children, Randa worked part time as an abstractor, a land secretary and as Deputy Clerk for the Eastland County District Clerks office. In 2003, Randa began formal training as a landman under Roger L. Stephenson, CPL. In 2004 and 2005 she worked in a successful lease acquisition projects for EOG Resources and Bass Enterprises. Randa brought her talents to Threshold in October 2006 and currently supervises title and acquisition assignments.
